How do objects appear in the morning,  at noon and at night?

Earth-The planet on which we live
Moon-The natural satellite of the earth, visible (chiefly at night) by reflected light from the sun
Sun-The star in which the Earth orbits around






How do our shadows change throughout the day?

Vocabulary
shadow-A dark area or shape produced by a body coming between rays of light and a surface
position-A place where someone or something is located or has been put: "the ship's position"

Activity

1. Head outside when the sun is out.
2. Pair students in groups of two's and trace your shadows and mark the time
3. In two hours check trace your shadow again and record the time discuss the changes.
4. Repeat step 3 two more times.
